Its thick fleece lining provides warmth, and the water-resistant quilted outer layer helps shield from snow and rain. I appreciate the adjustable neck and belly straps, which make it easy to fit different dog shapes and sizes comfortably. Reflective strips are a great addition for safety during evening walks. Our furry baby loves it.

Getting this on and off my dog was difficult since the neck slides over the head instead of being able to put it on around the neck. The leg straps are also difficult to get on and off as they are just adjustable elastic loops. I wish these also didn’t require that you put the leg through it but could wrap it at und and secure it so it would be easier to get on and off and also adjust.
I am glad I got something for our shorthaired dog for the winter as he has never really known a long winter and we just moved up north. Hoping he gets used to it quickly so he enjoys being outside in the cold more than he does now.
The weight of the coat is not overly heavy that it is difficult for the dog to move around in or add to how awkward it is to get on. The belly strap is very secure and easy to secure.

This coat fits my 60-lb Vizsla quite well. I like the adjustable waist strap. This works well for dogs that have a deep chest and are smaller in the hips. The coat seems well made and warm, although I don’t use the leg straps. I ordered the size large. Overall, I think it is a very nice coat.

Per the title of this review, the skirts/sides are short and do not fully cover the sides of the torso or the haunches/hips, long enough in the back, and once cinched bunches over the shoulder area and along the sides of the should area. Monty is 65lbs (29.5kgs), not broad bodied, narrow but deep chested, and minimally long backed. Fit well at the neck area, cinched up tightly and securely. He was not that comfortable due to the bunching, and I was reluctant to send him outside due to the short skirts on the sides of the blanket/coat. For a narrower and less deep chested large dog this blanket/coat might be great, but in our use case it is not comfortable for the dog. It is well-made, sewn well, padded and thick, reflective stripe, and sturdy. Recommended for less deep chested and narrower chested dogs.

I’ve been needing to get Emma a new dog jacket, and this one looked perfect. It’s so hard to buy sometimes. I can’t buy the ones with zippers anymore; it’s too hard to get on and off depending on whether she gains a few pounds or not, whether it fits or doesn’t.
Depending on the company, it seems like there’s no uniform sizing for small, medium, and large.
This jacket is really nicely made. Love the color, and will keep my dog very warm. I like the velcro and how the neck fits over her head, and I can make that more snug if I need to.
Check out the pictures.
Emma is a mix – King Charles Cavalier and Bichon – so she’s longer than she is wide. So I got the medium, thinking it’s better to size up than down.
Sadly, it’s too big, so I will have to return for the smaller size. Yet, I’ll be glad to do it cuz, as is said, it’s a quality jacket, easy to get on and off, and will keep her toasty warm in our cold winters.
I think this jacket is the best fit for medium- to large-breed dogs, think it will be too big for miniature or pups smaller than Emma. She’s 20 Lbs, Chest 22, and neck to back – 20 inches long.
Definitely measure your dog well and use their sizing chart. And your dog will be a happy, warm pup this winter!

With this PawVouge winter coat, which has a nice thick fleece lining and quilted outer shell, your pup will stay toasty warm this winter, when you go out for walks, or play in the cold.
My pup is a Smooth Coat Border Collie and has very short hair. He also, came to us from Florida, so this year will be his first New England winter ever… He is going to need an extra layer of protective warmth, especially when we do competition frisbee Catch & Fetch on Sunday mornings.
This dog coat is easy to slip over his head and the hook & loop strap goes around his mid-section, which keeps the coat in place, but with enough room for him to run around, jump in the air and catch his frisbee
This coat is a great item for your short haired pal and with the good quality of the quilt along with the inside fleece the winter cold will stay away from you four legged pal, all throughout the cold weather months!
Sizing runs pretty close, so, make sure when you order, you get the next best size up.
(The hook & loop strap has plenty of fabric length so you won’t have any trouble tightening the coat on your dog… Likewise, if your dog has eaten a few too many biscuits over the summer, they will appreciate the “belt loosening” the long straps will give you…
This is a great Dog Coat!

This vest looks great and is warm for my baby dog but the fit is harder to get than my other winter jackets for my dog because the torso loop doesn’t attach back on to the jacket to hold it on and stop it twisting instead you have straps for your dog’s legs on the back. It’s harder to get the dog into it and harder to adjust it to fit especially if your dog’s legs aren’t in the right spot for the loops, like if she’s shorter or longer it really won’t fit correctly. There is some adjustment so for me it worked just fine but it was more complicated than I was used to. Looks sharp though! And it’s reflective!
